Anti-Human Trafficking Campaign in Beautiful Bergen
I heard that Bergen is very beautiful form many people but I found Bergen very beautiful than people used to speak about it. We visited Bergen with a slogan “Say no to Human Trafficking” and aware people about Human Trafficking. This was one of the biggest gatherings organized to support yearly Red Cross Youth Campaign against Human Trafficking. We were all youth delegates except Aline from Rwanda were gather along with some youth volunteers from Akershus, Oslo and Telemark.
When we reached Bergen we received very warm welcome from Bergen Red Cross youth. We all had joined delicious dinner made by Trude one of the past youth delegate to Lebanon.
Almost all volunteer along with all youth delegate in Norway were waiting for the next day to hold stand and spread information about human trafficking in city center of Bergen.
The next day everyone is shining with warm sunlight and spread over the city center with brochures busy on talking with the people. The weather was very good so that area of city center was full with people.
Auction and youth volunteer moving around city center with Red Cross Balloon hanging like forced prostitution, forced labor are the one of most attractive things that we able to attract the people.
Active participation of the entire volunteer made it success and able to raise some money too.
We also got chance to view beautiful Bergen with help of Red Cross youth volunteer. We went to the Fløyen Mountain and got a chance to view real beauties of the beautiful Bergen.
The view from the Fløyen was awesome. We also been to Aquarium and got a chance to view Penguin, shell and many beautiful fishes many more things.

AKERSHUS RED CROSS YOUTH CONFERENCE 2009
Most of the conferences are full to very long and useless speech but during this conference there was only one short and sweet speech which is one of the very good parts.
We had spent most of the time on training for the participants and had lots of ice breaker (games) so that participants don’t feel bored!
The conference contains basically two trainings for the participants: First Aid and communication skills development which was optional.

All the participants were happy to get training. We were altogether 23 youths on conference. We all enjoyed our time during the conference and learned lots of things which we have to apply on our country.

A little bit enjoying and struggling on cold!!
When I saw snow here in Norway I remembered those days which I had passed with my friends in Nepal. We used to travel around 20-80 kilometers on motorbike just to play on snow but now I am on the land where I can see only white ground covered by ice and snow. Sometimes I am enjoying a lot to play on snow but most of time I am struggling on this cold where the temperature goes down up to -20 which freezes me. We spent most of time inside but I whatever time we spent outside it was really difficult. I thought that I was wearing enough clothes but also my body was just freeze and feel that “Oh!! Do, I able to alive on this cold”

BEGINING TO HALF WAY OF THE JOURNEY
As a volunteer in Nepal Red Cross Society for five years I learned many things. I had started my volunteering journey since 2004 as a Red Cross Youth president on Tri-Chandra Multiple College while I am doing undergraduate. I always remember my colleagues who had supported me during my President ship in College. I had also worked as First-Aid and Search and Rescue volunteer in Kathmandu District Chapter. I am always thankful to all who had supported me to create a path for this journey. My volunteer experience helped me a lot to be here in Norway as a Youth Delegate, which was one of my dream to be a delegate.
After 12 hours flight from Nepal and 12 hours transit we arrived in Norway. Oh!! It’s cold!! I heard a sound don’t worry it will be colder hey!! She was Vibeke who was delegate in Nepal last year. I was very happy to see her coz I couldn't able to say her Bye when she returned back to Norway after finishing her journey as Youth Delegate in Nepal. We had some memorable times when she was in Nepal.
We had been in various trainings around one month’s, which are very useful for us for being a delegate. It was the time that we all 16 delegates are together for one month and we were very sad to detach and happy to be in new place. But we all told to be in touch during our abroad stay. But I feel that we were not in touch as I thought it might be due work load. Even though, we had a communication with each other but not as I hoped.
During this time I had shared mine experience and learned lot from various activities which we had done with local youth groups. Although, Norwegian youths had many things to do but also they are very active and trying to do best and we are also helping them fo. We had very good contact with all the local youth leaders and getting very good co-operation and help from them and also from all the staffs in our office. I had learned many things during my half way of journey. Till the date I had very excellent time here in Norway so I am gratified to all for making mine journey easy and making it preeminent.
