International Youth Week Celebration

Opegård Red Cross Youth is one of the most active youth group in Akershus. Me and Durga introduced on the program as a youth delegate from Nepal and had short presentation about Nepal, our involvement in Red Cross, activities of Nepal Red Cross youth and Norwegian Red Cross youth as well as “How to be a Youth Delegate?” On the program we also tried our best to teach Nepali dance to all the participants and we described meaning of the songs. It was fabulous experience to teach the dance. On the program there are also other youths from Hong Kong, Italy and Brazil. They are in Norway as an exchange student.

Seminar on Human Trafficking 17-19 October

We all the delegates are not only sharing the experience being in Norway but also experience on own country. It was good to know about facts and story from all the delegates of their countries. We all had a small presentation about human trafficking situation in Nepal, Sudan, Rwanda and Colombia. Various performances during the seminar plant more energy on it.

Oh!! Saturday!!
Everyone is sleeping on the home but we are just waking up early and eager to learn more about the Human Trafficking globally. Human Trafficking is one of the world biggest issues now. This year Red Cross Youth has yearly campaign for Ant-Human Trafficking so, we are been on the seminar to gain more information and facts on it. During seminar we had lots of information and also the materials.

I feel that mine face has more vividness today coz we are going to meet all the delegates who are here in Norway and feeling sad due to reason that we are not meeting the delegates who are outside the Norway. When we meet each other I feel that all of us want to share something and all of us did it. It was great to hear their experience and feeling. Almost all of has same feeling about the Norway. I was happy to hear most of good things from all the delegates.

Meeting with District Board

It was the great experience to be in the meeting of the Akershus Red Cross district board. On meeting me and mine co-delegate tried to present each other speaking on Norwegian though we are not good in it. We tried it feeling that “nothing is better than something”.

Today, I am little bit nervous though I had faced camera before also. I was feeling that it will be hard for camera man and me too. This thought hits on mine mind coz language might be barrier for the suite and it takes lots of time. But all of mine thoughts became wrong because we done the shots quickly and I was very happy.
